A Deeper Connection
In as little as one sentence, you can create a gift to Feeding America in your will or living trust. This type of gift, called a bequest, helps ensure we can continue fighting for food equity in America for as long as it takes.
A bequest is also wonderfully flexible. It may be modified throughout your lifetime, allowing you to provide for both family and the causes near to your heart, in the exact way you would prefer, even if that way changes over time.

An Example of How It Works
With three minor children, Andrew and Amy knew it was time to create an estate plan for their family. They found that the planning process helped them reflect on people and nonprofits that were important to them and the legacy they would like to leave. They learned how easy and flexible it can be to include one sentence to make a gift to Feeding America for a percentage of their estate or a specific dollar amount. Together, Andrew and Amy are creating a legacy that will achieve a dual purpose: stability for their children, and resources to help Feeding America continue to assist people facing hunger.
